The Nikon 12-24mm wide angle lens has a 2x optical zoom and is meant for Nikon 35mm Digital SLR cameras. It is a G type lens with ED glass elements, a silent wave motor and aspherical lens. The minimum focus range is 30cm and it has a maximum view angle of 99 degrees. The filter size is 77mm. In 135 format the zoom is equivalent to 18-36mm.
